marketing assistant
OCA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our growing architectural practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment and is comfortable "wearing mutliple hats". The Assistant Marketing position supports proposals, marketing materials, digital content, and business development efforts, working closely with architects and firm leadership to present our work clearly and consistently. Strong organization, communication skills, and an interest in architecture and design are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing proposals, RFQs, and interview presentations
- Research client base for new opportunities (both online and in person)
- Create/expand/update client project sheets, staff resumes, and marketing materials
- Coordinate with project managers for project descriptions and graphics
- Help organize and maintain image libraries and marketing files
- Manage marketing calendars and deadlines
- Assist with layout and formatting in InDesign, Canva, or similar tools
- Help update & maintain the firm website, social media, and digital content
- Assist with evaluation of conferences and events including determination of sponsorship & attendance
- Coordinate marketing materials, presentations, swag, hotel accommodations, for said events and/or attend events as appropriate.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of marketing experience
- Experience maintaining websites and social media
Required Software Proficiencies:
- InDesign
- Canva
- Microsft PowerPoint / Word
