Rocky Mount Fire Station #2 Replacement
Rocky Mount, NC
Civic + Municipal
Rocky Mount Fire Station #2 replaced the original facility, which was constructed in 1977 and had far outlived its useful life. Oakley Collier Architects performed a facility assessment, program review, and conceptual planning, with the final recommendations presented to the City of Rocky Mount.
The new 16,310 SF, two-story facility includes three apparatus bays, a dayroom, sleeping quarters, fitness room, and other amenities designed to support the operational needs of the fire department.
The project was delivered using the design-build method and was completed in August 2025.
