Rocky Mount Event Center

The new 177,636 SF community facility and event center is intended to breathe life back into Rocky Mount’s struggling downtown area. The exterior of the building is designed to weave the new facility into the surrounding historic fabric of the community. The Event Center provides a venue for large public & private gatherings, regional sporting events, and group space for business, commercial and private use. Major features incorporated within the Center include a 5,000-seat large event arena that can be separated into two separate event floors with 8 total 50’ x 84’ basketball courts. The flexible Conference Center that accommodates varying group sizes includes space on the first floor for up to 6 meeting rooms and up to 4 on the second floor. The facility also includes a full commercial kitchen with supporting amenities for all spaces, concessions & prep area, 4 party rooms, arcade with redemption, family entertainment center with elevated ropes course & rock climbing, and associated & required site development.
