New Bern Riverfront Convention Center

The New Bern Riverfront Convention Center underwent extensive renovations following damage caused by hurricanes and flooding in 2018. Improvements included new mechanical systems and generators installed on raised platforms, new elevator supports, raised gas and other utility systems, replacement of wiring and electrical components, and repairs to various areas of the building’s exterior.

Later phases of the project included an expanded outdoor patio with spaces designed to accommodate dining, performances, and special events.

The project was completed in March 2020.
