Golden LEAF Foundation

The 10,600 SF Golden LEAF Foundation facility was designed to preserve and complement one of Rocky Mount’s tranquil natural settings. Together with the renovated cabin on the site, the facility provides an inviting environment for community nonprofit organizations to hold conferences, meetings, and retreats.

The design blends traditional materials, including stone and copper, with contemporary sustainable elements such as high-efficiency glazing. Extensive use of natural light provides views of the surrounding landscape while bringing daylight into offices, conference rooms, and workspaces throughout the facility.

The project was completed in 2008.
