Elm City Train Depot

Originally constructed in 1910, the Elm City Train Depot served as a regular stop along the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad until passenger stops in the Town of Elm City were discontinued in the 1960s.

The historic depot was relocated and fully renovated for use as a community center, reopening on August 3, 2017. Renovations included a new slate roof, updated electrical systems, and accessibility improvements.

Today, the facility serves as a community gathering space and houses a railroad museum. It also provides space for classes offered in partnership with the local agricultural office and community college, as well as a room available for community events.
